Kinesiology

Kinesiology works with the innate healing intelligence of the body, using muscle monitoring to identify causes of imbalances in structural, neurological and physiological function. It is a powerful system of stress management, using the muscle response to communicate to the practitioner what is out of balance, where the energy has been blocked, the nature of the stress and emotional component, and then the treatment needed for correction.
Kinesiology can be used for: Acute and Chronic Pain, Allergies, Addictions, Phobias, Depression, Stress, Fears, Anxiety, Decision making, Self esteem, Personal growth, Learning difficulties, Digestive disorders...and much more...

Counselling Kinesiology

There is an initial “talking” phase where the client will identify and clarify an issue or goal they are experiencing presently. The next phase uses Kinesiology techniques to explore and de-stress the identified issues.

Through the use of muscle monitoring it is possible to identify emotions that may be hidden from the client’s conscious awareness. Often our patterns of response and behavior have been laid down earlier in our life as a survival response to a new situation. Later, when we find ourselves in circumstances that register as being a similar situation, our programmed survival response automatically kicks in.

Kinesiology identifies the original stress source and de-stresses the system at this primitive survival level (the amygdala). Thus by defusing the automatic response of the fight-flight survival mechanism the individual may be freed up to react differently and make new choices.
